With the current season now nearly over, it’s time to look forward to next season…
The new 2021/22 season will start on the weekend of Saturday 14th August but, at this time, it is still far from clear whether Goodison (and other stadia) will be operating at
full or reduced capacity.
However, what is clear is that easyJet is currently operating many fewer flights than we have been used to in the past...
- on 14th August (the opening day of the season), there are currently just two flights out available (08.20 and 13.45) - with neither of the return flights (07.00 and
15.05) suitable for a day return trip; although, on Sunday, things are a little better with six return flights available
- by 11th September, things have improved a little with an additional early Saturday morning flight (07.00) to Liverpool - however, there is still no Saturday evening
flight home
- by 6th November, with the arrival of the winter schedule, things appear to be returning to normal, with four Saturday flights (including 08.25 and 11.00) over to Liverpool and the reappearance of a Saturday evening flight (20.30) to Belfast
However, it must be stressed that with the ongoing ebb and flow of the pandemic, things (and schedules) are liable to ongoing changes.
